Sabu Alegria-Ramirez presents aerial acrobatics on Washington-Trapeze, a traditional act of his family, which he learned from his grandfather.
His courageous balances on a static as well as swinging trapeze are together with the dangerous jumps considered to be unique.
He made his entrance in the world of show business at the age of 16, in 1970, as he made a South-American tour with CIRCO TIHANY of Argentina.
In 1984 he came to Europe for the first time, touring with CIRCUS KNIE in Switzerland.
In 1985-86 he performed in the USA and Canada with RINGLING BROS., BARNUM & BAILEY CIRCUS.
Additionally, he won an award at the INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL of MONTE-CARLO in 1985.
